Walking With God

8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. 9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.  Genesis 6:8-9

The time that we in live is very similar to the days of Noah. There is wickedness in the earth and evil inclinations in the hearts of men. The bible states God was grieved that He had made man on the earth and His heart was filled with pain.  God purposed in His heart to destroy the land with a flood, however it was Noah who found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Let this be your ambition as it is mine both now and in the future. For it is the grace or favor of God that distinguishes you and produces a great work in your life.

Noah was just and perfect in his generations. When the world was corrupt and wicked, he kept his integrity by doing what was right in the sight of God. Noah was therefore justified before God because he had right principles and precepts implanted in him and was righteous in his behavior toward God and mankind. God is looking for downright honest people who have simplicity and sincerity and not the spirit of this world.  He wants to show himself strong toward them that will live for Him.

Noah walked with God as Enoch had done before him according to Genesis 5:24. He was not only honest but devout. He lived a life of communion with God conforming to the will or plans of the Father. He done everything God commanded him to do even when it looked foolish from the world's perspective.  When you walk and live by faith God extends His favor upon your life.

Today, God is looking for someone to put a peculiar mark of favor and honor on. 2 Chronicles 16:9, says the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. I pray you will be one of those who
will be distinguished because you "Walked with God" even when it was not popular!

Love, Peace and Blessing,
Pastor Eric
