Arise and Shine
The prophet Isaiah is speaking to the church. It had been in a state of affliction and calamity. Times had become increasingly worst and many had lost all hope. God uses Isaiah to tell the church to arise from the dust and impart unto others that which had been given to them, the glory of the Lord.
Today, I encourage you to arise from your current state (not enough or just enough) and shine that others may see you serve a God that is more than enough. Jesus, the light of the world encourages you to let your light shine that others may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven.
As Christians, the glory of God reflects from your life. Although the world is becoming darker, you will become brighter because of Jesus.
Today, I ask you to A.R.I.S.E. so the glory of the Lord may be seen by those in darkness.
1. Awake and Acknowledge: Take an assessment of your life with the truth of God's word to determine what state you are in - not enough, just enough or more than enough.
2. Repent and Rehearse: Turn away and change your mind regarding things that hinder you from experiencing more than enough. Rehearse that Jesus wants
you to have life and it more abundantly. John 10:10
3. Ignore the devil and Ignite the Deliverer: Resist the lies of the devil who comes to steal, kill and destroy and allow Jesus, your Savior and Deliverer to give you Zoe life; abundant and overflowing.
4. Stir up the gift of God: Allow the Holy Spirit to use you as a chosen instrument, a vessel of honor, or a pen in the hand of a ready writer. 2 Timothy 1:6
5. Expect to do well: As you walk in obedience to God's word and the leading of the Holy Spirit, expect to do well and be used to bring glory to your Heavenly Father.
May people be attracted to the beauty of His holiness and His unconditional love reflecting from your life.
Arise and Shine,
Pastor White
